You may have already found many theses and disserations while searching databases for journal articles. Many of them may not be full text, and will need to be requested through Interlibrary Loan, but at least you can generally read an abstract of the dissertation first.

You can also search the holdings of other libraries using WorldCat.org to find theses and dissertations.  You can limit to these types of sources from the advanced search menu (see below).
