According to both Writing at Carson Newman: http://library.cn.edu/wacn/pdfs/5th%20ed%20MLA%2009.pdf and Research and Documentation Online: http://bcs.bedfordstmartins.com/resdoc5e/RES5e_ch08_s1-0011.html#RES5e_ch08_p0300 you do not need volume #, page #s, or publisher for citing a reference book:

[Name of Author if Any.] "Title of Article." Title of Reference Book. [Edition # if any.] Date of Publication. Print.
